Situated at the foot of Limbara hills, in the heart of the lush Gallura and only a short distance from Tempio Pausania, you will find L’Agnata De Andrè, a magical, comfortable refuge where tranquility embraces you. Hotel L’Agnata is truly an inviting masterpiece surrounded by the green and gentle rolling hillside of this pure and naturall and scape of the Gallurese country.
The house, originally a Manor with a characteristic sheepfold, became in the mid 70’s the residence of the famous Italian singer songwriter De Andre, who wrote therein numerous poems and songs inspired by the charm of this place and its people. Still to this day, reminiscent of his past, every angle of L’Agnata emanates a poetic feeling starting with the lively pergola that forms theen trance. By Sunset, illuminated by the warm candle light, the pergola makes a bridge through the noises of life and forms a space of pastoral peace, made of perfumes and colors which change within the different four seasons.
Along this short path, nestled among ancient olive groves, the world feels left behind entering into a small idyllic piece of paradise.
The Hotel is divided into two distinguished architectural structures. The new, comprised with eight rooms all with a view to the swimming pool (terrace and patio) and a cozy Library with its own fireplace.
The antique structure in its real sense a manor house, with a ground floor restaurant with terrace and a view to the garden, a library, the dining room and on the first floor two additional rooms.
The ten double rooms of L‘Agnata are all different from one another. Each room is distinguished in design by representing the natural landscape and tones of the island. The Style of the rooms is described as “Arte Povera “a style of modern revolutionary art which combines elegance, comfort& simplicity. It offers also a quadruple room and three triple rooms which are generously sized.
The double rooms “Comfort” (25sqm) feature the amenities: hair-dryer, air conditioning, phone, safe, minibar, Wi-Fi internet connection, satellite TV and bathroom with shower.
Wrapped in a green creeper, the outer façade is the unmistakable signature of this charming hotel.
The leafy branches beautifully climb from the ground up to covering the entire surface making it an absolute delight to the eye. It is so that the Agnata changes dress according to the season, bright green in summer and in the thousand shades of red when autumn arrives. On the Inside, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The interior style reigns with the elegance of simplicity with furniture and furnishings of areal house, breathing love and attention to detail as a style defined as Arte Povera.
All around there is a large garden, with its geometric floral, soft and always well maintained. There is a zen fountain and a swimming pool, that is set like a turquoise stone between rock and thick vegetation.

Tradition breathes in L’Agnata in every angle therefore the new management pays much attention to what will be served on the table. The Restaurant offers dishes of true Sardinian cuisine. Sardinian cuisine is devoted to simplicity and genuineness using basic raw materials carefully selected from small local producers. Following like this in the footsteps of tradition. From the Hearty and rich Breakfast , which is included in the price , to a light lunch in the veranda or a romantic dinner in front of a bottle of wine everything in the name of freshness and true taste of a very sincere hospitality.
The Restaurant is located in the main Manor house and has a capacity of 80 seats. Nonetheless in the warmer months there is a choice of countless outdoor sitting options taking advantage of the idyllic views & surroundings where you can enjoy a tasty meal under a splendid sky, protected under the cool shade of a weeping willow.
